Taskforce: A Cultural Strategy and Marketing Agency
I created this piece as a featured artist during Taskforce’s Health is Life Creative Jam. During the 3-hour live-streamed event, I spoke about my creative process and made art alongside cultural workers from all over the country.
The content developed during the Creative Jam showcases how artwork can collectively shape new narratives that advance the policies, practices, and values to help get to the ultimate goal—a society where everyone has equal opportunity to be as healthy as possible.
My inspiration came from a friend who hosted a “mulberry party,” where she brought folks together to forage and feast on the abundance our land naturally offers us. It dreams up a future where scarcity is a fading memory.
