I participated in a cohort of artists, convened by Ebony Gustave and Robin Bean Crane, to uplift the Creative Wildfire manifesto.

Together, we explored the question, “How can we expand our imagination of an economy where all can thrive by spotlighting examples already happening in our communities?”

This illustration was inspired by a story and words from an organizer in St. Louis Mutual Aid; "I see a world that I dream of where people are getting their needs met, and they are centered. They are valued. They are loved."

Elements of the illustration were incorporated into an animation for the Creative Wildfire project. The animation was designed for educators to bring organizer and artist's visions of the solidarity economy into their curriculum.
